And sew it begins!

Alright sorry for the dorky pun in the title! It had to be done. Anyways..........so I had such success with the bow making, I decided to tackle sewing. I'll admit I didn't have a whole lot of faith that I was gonna be able to do it but I really really wanted to try it. My mom sewed all of my clothes when I was little and I LOVED it! She even made me my own cabbage patch doll (ok it was no Xavier Roberts 1984 CPK but still!). So clearly I had the genetic makeup to learn how to sew lol! I found the right sewing machine for me and pretty much ran with it! I can honestly say that I think I found my niche! Too bad I didn't realize this before getting that master's degree in psychology that I'm still paying off! Ok well so what, it took me a while to get to realize it but I.LOVE.TO.SEW. I love all the different patterns and styles out there, I love fabric, I love all the different knick knacks that you can use to accessorize, I love the complete satisfaction and pride that comes with making something original for my kids. I love to create new looks...........I physically NEED to create new looks. I'm so happy with how much I've learned so far and am shocked at how easy this has come to me (my mom is too. Thanks for the confidence mom!). I'm excited about the new things I want to learn.
